The Freehold Borough Recreation Commission oversees all the playgrounds and recreation fields located within the Borough. The Recreation Commission offers a variety of recreational programs and events to the residents of the Borough, i.e. the annual Easter Bunny Event, Borough-Wide Yard Sale, Independence Day Concert & Fireworks, activities at Olde Freehold Day, Spooktacular events at Halloween, the annual holiday house decorating contest and more.

The Recreation Commissioners and Freehold Borough Basketball League volunteers are proud to announce that registration for the 2025 – 2026 season is now underway. Thank you to all of our sponsors, parents, volunteers and of course players. Cheers to another season of recreation basketball.

Our league has two brackets 3rd – 5th grade and 6th – 9th grade.
