Recreation Commission Information
The Freehold Borough Recreation Commission oversees all the playgrounds and recreation fields located within the Borough. The Recreation Commission offers a variety of recreational programs and events to the residents of the Borough, i.e. the annual Easter Bunny Event, Borough-Wide Yard Sale, Spooktacular events at Halloween, the annual holiday house decorating contest and more. The Recreation Commission also offers assistance to many local programs.
The commission meets at Borough Hall on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. to discuss various recreational activities for the residents of the Borough. All terms are for five years.
Currently there is an Alternate position open within the Commission. Any Borough residents who may be interested in serving on the commission is asked to call 732 462-4200 for more information or send an email to [email protected].
